The story
I'm Wout. I've been organising events since 2022. Prom nights, sports days, bar activities for associations. Every year the same questions: who works when? Who confirmed? How do I distribute rewards fairly?
I tried Excel. I tried WhatsApp groups. I tried combinations. Nothing really worked. Too much manual effort, too much miscommunication, too little overview. After each event I didn't really know who had done exactly how much.
I looked at what large companies use. Professional HR software, workforce planning tools. They work, but they cost thousands of euros and are built for companies with permanent staff, not for volunteers.
That couldn't be the only option. So I built Crewloods. Not as an experiment, but as a real solution to a real problem. Built for the organiser who runs an event with 20 volunteers and simply wants to know who is where.
